Contains very high concentrations of the well-known additive ZDDP (zinc dialkyl-dithio-phosphate) which has been the primary extreme pressure ingredient in all motor oils for over 70 years. One bottle treats 4-5 quarts of oil. Stricter emission requirements on new cars have caused the removal of ZDDP from motor oils. ZDDPlus restores the extreme pressure function of the oil to the level originally required for older non-catalytic convertor equipped vehicles. Why ZDDP? Because your camshaft and flat lifters need it to prevent scuffing and premature wear. Do not use in vehicles equipped with a catalytic convertor!
