Easily removes wiper arms from the shaft with very little effort and without damaging the surrounding paint when used properly. We do recommend that you use a piece of thin rubber or similar between the tool and the wiper arm to prevent scratching the finish on the arm.
** Note: This tool does not work with the early Ford wiper arms that do not have the flanged pivot cap dating from 1965 and older.

I’ve been removing wiper arm for close to 50 years now and never knew there was a tool to make it easier. I recently bought a mid 60’s Chevy and got this tool so I wouldn’t risk scratching the paint. I was shocked at how easy the first arm came off and the second was the same. It also helped getting them back on. Can’t recommend this tool enough for wiper arms that are held in place with spring tension pushing off the windshield!
