Best repro. This unit has the locator tab that clocks the pump in the bottle. This tab was used to locate the electrical connection in the same location for production. No other repro on the market has this crucial detail.

Fits and works perfectly. I'd recommend a little helpful info on installing (which I received on the Vintage Mustang Forums website): apply powdered graphite to the rubber seal on the impeller end of the motor prior to inserting it. Use a 12 point 1" deep socket to press it in place.

The product fit well but did not match the advertisement since the locating notch was absent. I selected this model specifically for the OEM-style notch. After contacting customer service, they confirmed that none of the units in stock featured the notch. Although the pump functioned properly, the impeller was loose on the shaft. Consequently, I opted to use the impeller from my previous pump, which had a firmer fit.
