WHEEL SET, Vintage 50 10 Spoke, 16” x 8”, 4 1/2” backspacing, 5 x 4 1/2” bolt circle, Natural machined surfaces with medium gray painted center spokes, Requires negative camber wedge kit for best performance, Set includes 4 wheels with caps and lugs, Vintage wheels are an alloy wheel built by an SFI certified wheel manufacturer and were designed and tested to exceed US DOT specs (2200#) and to meet SFI racing specs. They have the correct backspacing for a wheel of this width to fit the early Mustangs and Cougars. Allows the use of today’s current tire technology for improved handling and control. A negative camber kit (sold in performance suspension section) is recommended for front tire clearance. Preferred tire size is 225-50 x 16 particularly in front but 245-50 x 16’s are possible if the car isn’t radically lowered. Wheels have a natural center with a machined rim. This style of wheel was found on Trans-Am and other racing Mustangs, Cougars and Shelbys from the mid-60’s on.
