This is a very nice quality cap. Unfortunately the backing plate allows a little wiggle room on my magnum 500 14" steel wheels on my 1966 Mustang; this wiggle room allows for potential off-center mounting which isn't a good thing but may not be problematic for others. The downside is that this will not work on my front wheels with Disk Brakes and a wheel bearing cap; the cap protrudes far enough toward the center wheel hole that the backing plate hits it. So, I'm gonna try the original plastic style which comes with a different mounting mechanism.
