YES I would recommend this product.

I HAD to get a swivel-able thermostat housing- there are few of them out there and this one fit just right. It is finely brushed aluminum, which looks great and was made with quality. BUT, there are two MAJOR trade-offs. One is much reduced flow. The 1.75 inch outlet is smaller than the 2 inch outlet of the original. And worse, the original had a spherical housing and 45 degree outlet that maximized flow. This this has a 90 degree outlet and a flow path with many obstacles due to it being machined, not cast. The other is the 90 degree turn vs the OEM 45 degree- this makes it much harder the route the hose around obstacles; yet that the purpose of swiveling is to do just that. If I could find a swiveling outlet of OEM configuration, I would buy it right now and and put this one in my spare parts box.
