While I am sure this is a great improvement, this valance will not fit 64.5 to early 65 cars. The top holes on original valances are oval that allow some movement from side to side to fit. Also the brackets on the inside that hold the stud that goes into the quarter panel were off by one inch compared to my original valance. Two measurements were taken both from stud to stud and from inside of bracket to the inside of the other bracket. More research needs to be done and improvement for the early cars that have damaged valances or that need to convert back to single exhaust from GT dual exhaust
