Best use leather glove when installing this unless you like cut thumb since rolled edges aren't. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere, can't speak to NPD inhouse part, but did get ACP which is prefect match to NPD clutch trim. As a side note had NPD rep pull another and it had same hi ridge so it's manufacture issue.
