Tail Light Closeout Filler, LH, fills in the area between the body and tail light assembly, reproduction

Very disappointing. Misshapen, badly molded and too small. Low quality “rubber”. Certainly the worst reproduction part I’ve received (most are very good). I’ve spent hours trimming, cutting and gluing to make these work, and they look pretty bad. I wound up installing them because I couldn’t find an alternative. You’ll be much happier with a gap around your taillights and $100 in your pocket. NPD’s service very good as always. Very happy with the company; this particular part is just horrible.

While frustrating to install, after looking at several videos showing installation online we were able to install without issue.  The trick is locating the filler panel side first then working from there.  Also of note is that the opposite side cuts across the corner just as factory did, it does not continue around the entire perimeter.  Once placed it does look inconsistent and wavy, luckily we have a 1981 Z28 here in our collection with around 100 original miles to use as reference and it shows the very same from the factory.  Appreciate the kind comments for us here at NPD and we understand the frustration in installing these though with patience we could not replicate the need to trim, cut or glue.
