Left and right bank of engine tags were located on either the #1 or #4 plug wire (passenger side) and the #8 wire on the drivers sides. They were placed on the wires about 1/2 away from the distributor side wire boot. They identify the passenger side and drivers side wire groups for quick orientation when installing the wires and cap to the distributor.
