Worked perfectly to replace my broken switch and get my brake lights working again. I also used the bushing kit and recommend that as well. Its an easy job, but the location makes it suck to actually perform. I'm not a mechanic, just a dude with a vintage var.

I was replacing the entire brake system on a recently purchased 1965 Mustang convertible. Since I was pulling the master cylinder anyway, I decided that I might as well replace the brake switch. Unfortunately, the new brake switch ended up being defective and only one brake light would come on. I removed the switch and upon inspecting it I noticed that one of the male spade terminals was loose which I suspect did not allow for a complete connection. I reinstalled my old switch and voila had both brake lights. I would have to chalk it up to poor quality control by the manufacturer.
