I found this item by chance while looking for the same glove box light for a 1965 Chevy C10 truck. A little research revealed this to be an excellent fit for my truck, and a much sturdier and simplistic design....clicked right in and lit right up!

Not sure why they show two different units. I received the silver finish with green connector. Silver is appropriate for my 11/65 Dearborn coupe. Three stars because it is not exact. Switch button is significantly smaller than original, and green connector (?). Also the connector is smaller than the female socket. I installed and put a little squeeze on the join to hold it secure. I would look for an alternative to this Daniel Carpenter product.
