Added a rear sway bar to our 1957 Thunderbird so I decided to upgrade the front sway bar as well. This sway bar is far superior to the original (much thicker). Went on easy. I don't know that it made a difference but I like knowing I have a new, and better, sway bar on the front of my 65 year old car.

Nice heavy-duty kit with excellent glossy black finish on the bar. Kit came with 8 flat plates which were not needed on my car. Install was easy because I was replacing the existing factory sway bar. Directions were scant and would benefit from some pictures or diagrams. You have to reuse the existing hardware which attaches the curved bracket to the car. These bolts are not provided.

Bar is good. Instructions are terrible. No mention of stacking 4 spacer plates a side to avoid interference with bottom of radiator shield. I only needed 3 spacers in my case. Two long bolts included; needed four. I ended up Googling instructions from another manufacturer. Good quality hardware otherwise and a noticeable improvement over stock, rear bar installed in conjunction with front. Does not affect ride quality, just adds flatter cornering.
