These Street Bandit sway bars are designed to minimizebody roll, understeer & oversteer when cornering,resulting in improved vehicle handling & control for yourFox Mustang. Both the front 1 3/8 bar and rear 7/8bar include urethane mounting bushings as well as anyneeded hardware for installation. Both bars are powdercoated in a black finish and made from a high carbonsteel construction that insures a lasting quality. 1 3/8 Front Sway Bar:
The purpose of this performance style front sway baris to keep the body of the vehicle level while maintainingtraction and control of the vehicle as the weight is shiftedfrom side to side. This bar features an increased sizeover most factory style bars to help with this control. Itfeatures OE style mounting positions and includes bothurethane mounting and end link bushings.
7/8 Rear Sway Bar:
This rear sway bar has been redesigned to eliminatethe factory mounting location on the lower trailing arms,which is prone to breakage. Our redesigned bar mountsto the frame of the car and the rear axle itself allowing formore efficient sway bar action. This mounting style allowsfor the use of lower control arms with or without OE stylemounting. All this translates into improved traction andadded strength.
The rear sway bar is designed to work with factory style rear axle housing covers but may work with some aftermarket style covers as well. Please check your clearance before installation.
