I want to say upfront, this review is for the item description, NOT the subframe connectors themselves. The description states "Bolt in design requires no cutting or welding to increase the torsional stiffness of the cars body.... bolt in installation uses existing mounting points so drilling or welding is not required...". When I opened the package there was no mounting hardware (bolts) and the instruction manual only listed welding for the installation. I spoke with Hotchkis and they confirmed the description is incorrect- they do not even sell subframe connectors that can be bolted in. The connectors themselves are beefy and do match up to the leaf spring bolt and the front frame. I'm not sure they are worth double the price of other connectors. I thought the additional cost was because it was supposed to be bolt in instead of welded.

Very beefy connectors but not sure they're worth double the price of others. They also do not fit my 1969 Cougar with CalTracs installed- the rear of the connector butts against the leaf spring bolt. You will have to grind a few inches off the end of the connector so it sits in front of the CalTrac leaf spring bolt.
