Chrome center with silver inserts. 3 3/4 back spacing. 5 x 4 1/2 bolt circle.
Silver inserts were discontinued around February 1965 and replaced with dark charcoal inserts although existing silver stocks would have been depleted after that date.
A truly first-class reproduction. These are the finest reproduction styled steel wheels currently available. Thats not just sales hype, these wheels can back that statement up with features and quality not found with the competition. The center sections have been faithfully recreated with proper contours and details and finished off with high quality and durable chrome plating plus specially formulated silver or dark charcoal paint that is not only an accurate color mix but the paint is formulated specifically to adhere to chrome plated surfaces to ensure lasting good looks while lessening the possibility of chipping or pealing. The industry standard rims are checked for true and either chrome plated with the same high-quality process as the centers or for the 1966 & 1967 versions painted in a durable semi-gloss black enamel as original. The whole assembly is placed in a fixture and welded to such close tolerances that although it is recommended to lug centric balance these wheels it is not really necessary as the tolerances are tight enough to not require it. Wheels are held to a maximum of .030 of lateral runout where in the 1960s the industry standard was .125 and current standards with modern equipment is .050. Lateral runout greater than .050 could be difficult to balance. Original wheels were riveted together and current Federal regulations require wheels to be welded and cannot be riveted.
Check bolt pattern, width, backspace (or offset), center bore, and brake caliper clearance to confirm that the desired wheel will fit your vehicle. Many vehicles have been modified & these changes may cause wheel fitment issues (i.e. axle swaps, disc brake / big brake conversions, suspension changes, and other modifications). ALWAYS verify the wheel actually fits on your vehicle BEFORE mounting tires. Wheels are not returnable after tires have been mounted.
