I had to run a tap thru ever nut and run a die down every stud in order to thread the studs in the manifolds and the nuts onto the studs. A PIA.

Just tried installing my set and have the same problem. I’m sending the set back, please send me one of those good sets randomly pulled. Looks like a great product but just has wonky threads on the short end.

The short threads are an interference fit and will seem to be the wrong thread size but it is not wrong. You have to lock two 7/16-14 nuts on the long threads and drive the short threads of the stud into exhaust manifold.
