PMGR style. 3/8 offset. 200 foot pounds of torque. Rated for up to 18:1 compression. Offset is the distance from the starter mounting surface to the engine side of the ring gear. Fits 4.130 diameter block plate. The choice for highly modified engines or where heat soak or space limitation is a concern. No heat soak problems. Machined aluminum mounting block. Weighs 8.5 pounds. Very efficient.

Typically the 3/8 offset starter is used on M/T flywheels with 164 teeth.

Note use of a PMGR style starter with a computer controlled engine requires the addition of a diode suppressed starter solenoid relay switch (11450), See F-11450-5 (Motorcraft) or M-11450-4B (replacement), for a proper solenoid.
