PMGR style. 3/8 offset. 180 foot pounds of torque. Rated for up to 14:1 compression. Fits 4.130 diameter block plate. Excellent choice for mild race or high performance street applications where heat soak is the main concern, 4.4:1 gear reduction, clears most oil pans or headers. No heat soak problems. adjustable mounting block. Weighs 10.5 pounds. Offset is the distance from the starter mounting surface to the engine side of the ring gear.

Typically the 3/8 inch offset starter is used on M/T flywheels with 164 teeth.

Note use of a PMGR style starter with a computer controlled engine requires the addition of a diode suppressed starter solenoid relay switch (11450), See F-11450-5 (Motorcraft) or M-11450-4B (replacement), for a proper solenoid.
