PMGR style. 3/4 offset. 180 foot pounds of torque. Rated for up to 14:1 compression. Fits 4.084 diameter block plate. Excellent choice for mild race or high performance street applications where heat soak is the main concern, 4.4:1 gear reduction, clears most oil pans or headers. No heat soak problems. adjustable mounting block. Weighs 10.5 pounds. Offset is the distance from the starter mounting surface to the engine side of the ring gear.

Typically the 3/4 offset Ford starter is used on M/T with 157 or 160 tooth flywheels and all A/T (157, 160 or 164 tooth flexplates).

Note use of a PMGR style starter with a computer controlled engine requires the addition of a diode suppressed starter solenoid relay switch (11450), See F-11450-5 (Motorcraft) or M-11450-4B (replacement), for a proper solenoid.
