LH rotation is typically used on 4sM/Ts and RH rotation is used in all others (A/T, T-5, TK, 3sM/T, etc). Transmissions with the speedo cable hole on the drivers (LH) side typically use RH rotation gears. Transmissions with the speedo cable hole on the passenger (RH) side typically use LH rotation gears.
