The internal check ball allows fluid to escape but prevents back pressure from sucking in air!

Great product that made brake bleeding a breeze. Only beef is that both the 1/4” and 7/16” bleeders are advertised for my 1962 F100 - not the case. The 3/8” is the correct bleeder. Need to do your research but the product is great once you get the correct size.
