SPARK PLUG WIRE SET, Concours, black plug boots, These wires are for most production engines (pre- May 1966) with the plug wires routed forward of the standard center clip on the rounded top valve covers using either the 12297-1 wire separators or the stamped steel special wire separators, The switch to the square top valve covers in May 1966 did away with the need for the special routing and special length plug wires although they were still seen through the end of production although not typical, These concours correct spark plug wires feature all correct original features, The printing is copied exactly as original, Wires that are supposed to have angled boots have them, The FoMoCo logo is correctly placed on the spark plug boots and are made out of silicone rubber, which has resistance to the high temperatures seen in engine compartments, Other manufacturers use chlorosulfunated rubber, which degrades at temperatures that occur under the hood, Wires are cut to the precise length of the originals, so they are tailored for the particular engine application and they are line printed exactly as original with the correct font and spacing, Correct original manufacturer materials are used for all individual components, These are the only spark plug wire sets that are made specific to your exact year and engine, Do not clean the wires with Armor-All or other products that contain solvent, We recommend cleaning by using a very dilute soapy water solution on a damp cloth with very light pressure,
