I'm not sure which of the original nut and ferrule assemblies this reproduction is based on, but the ferrules are longer than the ferrules used with the C6AZ-9B471-A assemblies by 0.115" (a little less than 1/8"). This means that the thermactor tubes will be that much closer to the shock towers when installed. The originals were finished with a zinc phosphate coating, these reproduction parts are not. These will work, though, and they're shorter (by 0.155") than the D5TZ-9B471-A replacement assembly that obsoleted the C6AZ-9B471-A assembly.

These
are repros of the C6AZ-9B471-A nuts. Can't address the ferrules as they
do not have a Ford part number or spec. Applications listed match the
Ford books.
You
cannot compare these to the replacement D5TZ parts. They are repro of the
original shorter C6AZ part. Ford says they can be that .155" longer
by using the D5TZ.
