This beefy skid plate protects Maximum Motorsports K-members from damage when bottoming out on crappy roads, race track curbing, or during off-track excursions. Rather than the transverse bar of the Maximum Motorsports K-member catching on stuff, the skid plate helps the car slide more easily over obstacles.
Manufacture Note:
-18-degree leading and trailing angles so you dont catch on stuff while going backwards as well; Stuff happens! -0.188-inch thick laser cut 304 stainless steel for durability; If you damage this thing, youve got bigger problems!-Attaches via the steering rack bolts for easy installation-Adds piece of mind and reduces pucker factor during those oh crap moments-For best fitment, the steering rack needs to be mounted in its highest position (which it should be anyway to minimize the bump steer stack length)
