Replacement. Originals were stamped no. 6. Spade wire terminal. See F-9278-2 for a sender that looks more like the original. This unit is used with an oil pressure warning light.

1968 Mercury Cougar DGS 302 4V. Works like a charm, but a devil to get to. Highly recommend the oil sending unit extension because the PS pump, fuel pump, and oil filter make it tight.
