The part is very good quality like OEM, but the problem is the sending unit has an incorrect Ohms scale and won't work on an 87 truck, which is the application it is listed for. Ford changed their Ohms scale in 87 from 10-73 to 158-16, so the gauge will never read correctly. I even called ACP, the manufacturer hoping it was defective or mis-packaged. They were clueless and said all of their senders were 10-73. For an 86 or earlier it would be fine, but not 87 and later. Thanks to NPD for their no-hassle return policy!
