These would be great if your originals are either completely missing or destroyed. Wrong grain patter, no simulated stitching, cuts for seat release lever and hook are not like original, and so on. Better than nothing, but I just ended up repainting my originals and reusing them instead.

If you have nothing at all these are a great alternative but even if your originals are chalky I wouldn't buy these aftermarket ones. If you have an early 71 car with the latch release in the middle only these won't do you any favors because they are designed for later 71 to 73 cars where the latch release was on the outsides of the chair. The fake stich pattern on the originals is not present on the aftermarket and when you have the side release latching mechanism it has a border all the way around the latch release on the originals and it is a horseshoe shape on the aftermarket. The grain pattern is not exactly like the originals but it would be nice for a driver car just not a show car or concourse correct. The mounting points on the back of the trim to put the clips for securing the trim plate to the chair itself are made of plastic on these aftermarket pieces where they are a metal fastener on the originals.
