When you open the hood there is a metal panel hanging down right behind the latch plate that comes down in front of the radiator when you close the hood. These rubber strips go on top of that panel and seal it to the hood. They were originally held in with staples so you should have the holes to guide your installation. Nice soft rubber parts that seem to be a really good match for the originals.
