RING, STEERING COLUMN BEARING TOLERANCE, UPPER, METAL STYLE, ORIGINAL F3XY-3L539-A
This upper ring is located at the top of the steering column behind the steering wheel. Ford calls this unit out as the metal version because the lower ring is made of plastic / nylon. This ring put onto the shaft assembly first before all of the bearings and sleeves. See M-3L539-101 for correct lower ring that is located at the bottom of the steering column.
