RetroSound Triax Speakers create a pure stereo sound from a single dash location and are great for older classics that only had one factory speaker position. These high-tech speakers use a dual voice coil set-up combining left and right channels into a single speaker. Fine-tuned for the open-air environment found in classic cars, these dual voice coil speakers do a fantastic job simulating a multi-speaker system.
Fitting Note: Some 1979-1993 Mustang hatchback models may require trimming of the outer speaker mounting tabs for a proper speaker grille installation.

Mounting holes do not align with OEM studs. OEM studs were too short for this speaker anyways so I mounted another set. Great speaker otherwise.

Great product. The Chrome plating and flames etching on the back frame is a bit much since it is pretty much invisible after it’s installed, but okay.
