Besides having rust spots on it the size of a dime to a quarter, it fit well.

These toe boards go higher up on the firewall than what might be necessary so trimming will definitely need to be done. The right side has a flange that points down, so if you're installing with a torque box it will need to be trimmed off. The flange on the torque box points up, so these two would interfere with each other. It's a quick trim and will fit nicely once it's done. I installed this after cutting out the old toe board and left a slight overlap, about an inch and welded both sides to seal it up. I then applied seam sealer along those welds.

This Canadian Made thicker piece worked nicely with the US Made, thicker steel floor pan in my '66 coupe. I only needed the lower section of the Toe Board, so some cutting was involved. I purchased this item in early 2020, so I am uncertain about any "tooling issues," as mentioned on this site.
