I have a 67 RS and the headlight door would open reliably every time I pulled the headlight switch, but they would only close sometimes. I would reach under the driver's fender and tap the outermost relay and the doors would close. One day, no amount of tapping could get the doors to close, so I got another relay from NPD and the door open and close as they should.
