I installed these reinforcement panels in my 1970 Mach 1 with factory rear floor pans. These panels are are nice, heavy pieces, but the fit was off. They required a lot of pounding into place and few strategic cuts to make them fit flush and tight up against the inside of the floor pans. My Mustang did not come with dual exhaust and did not have these reinforcement panels from the factory. Therefore, I can't comment how closely they resemble the factory reinforcement panels. (The factory panels may not have fit any better.) Just be aware installing these panels will take some brute force effort and cutting as well as welding into place.
