If you are looking to add a little more sound deadening to your 1979 thru 1993 Mustang Coupe then picking up this unit from NPD is just the ticket. It is made from 1/2 inch thick jute padding and features a mastic / rubber backing to help keep its original shape. They are dye cut to make installation as easy as possible. Note:
Some original Coupe models did not feature a just padding or sound deadening between the rear seat and the trunk area. This new jute padding will not only reduce road noise from the trunk area but will also give you a more finished look in the trunk area.
Installation Note:
It is recommended that you install the rear sounds absorber with the jute padding facing the interior of car. This will also for the mastic back to be seen from the trunk area and give you a more finished look.
