Its a piece of sheet metal that fits the opening and I didn't have to cut it. It does the job. I only added more screws though.

Great product for the price. Fit my 1965 Mustang perfectly. Everyone should install this product for safely to keep gas out in the event of a rupture. FYI - rear seat removes easily and this is simple to install even for a novice. Only hint, don't expect sheet metal screws to penetrate. I need a metal penetrating drill bit and then it was easy as pie. Highly recommended.

I painted it black and it looks great from the trunk side. And since the kids ride in back, I feel better about having some metal between them and the gas tank. I did have to drill some holes and screw it in to keep it in position and that why only four stars. But that only took a few extra minutes.

Does the job, but the fit seems like an afterthought. Looks like someone bought a piece of sheet metal and clipped it with metal snips. I’ll have to do a fair amount of adjustments to get it to cover the rear panel

It's a nice piece of sheet steel cut to shape of the divider board. I didn't use the screws, but cut it to hang like the original cardboard. Having those cuts pre-made would have been nice. I painted it as it comes bare (but oiled) and was afraid it would rust.

Very nice piece of steel, will be a good safe barrier. I primed and painted it ; I'm going to use pop rivets instead of the screws.

Fit pretty good. Shipping was just a couple days. I had to shape it into some bends and ended up bolting it and welding it in. I undercoated one side and sprayed bedliner on the trunk side. I can no longer hear my electric fuel pump and it quieted down the cabin a bit. Its a good addition for the money.

Fit and quality were very nice. word to the wise. prime and paint! I added sound deadener and used my own hardware. It's a good deal for the money considering not only the cost of steel but the time it would take to trim and fit it.

Fit perfectly in my '65 Ford Mustang. I used some paint prep on it to remove any oils and then gave it a quick coat of primer and paint. Not for looks but to prevent any rust that may occur long term.

Fits fairly well for the most part, but the cutouts on the top are pretty sloppy and don’t match the original cardboard (bigger).

took the cardboard out, bent the holding pins for the cardboard back out of the way, replaced with this, drilled holes, put a bead of silicone around the outside, screwed this in and covered with Dynamat, worked great, seems to be keeping some of the pesky gas fumes out of the cabin too. Only things I wish it was a little thicker and had some kind of template for where the screws should go, as I missed with a couple of them :)

Received the divider in a well packaged box with some self tapping screws. Fit the panel to the trunk without any issues. Coated the panel in semi gloss Por15. Instead of using the self tapping screws I opted to use rivnuts and stainless steel 1/4x20 button head allen bolts. Looks great and good to have the added protection.

Good product. Gets 4 stars because 5 stars is reserved for "exceeding" expectations. Could have holes punched to help spacing and drilling locations, could have been painted. On the whole, as expected and did not require trimming.

Fit well without cutting but I chose to trim it down to cover just the large rectangular opening. I welded it in. It just unformed sheet metal so it has a drum sound and will likely need sound deadening.

Perfect fit and way better than a piece of press board seperating the cab from the gas tank / trunk and kills the sound. I just used 3M rubberized black paint and screwed it down. The thick paint acted as a gasket to prevent that metal to metal squeak that I was afraid of

Good value for the price. The steel is good thickness but the edges are sharp and care must be used when maneuvering it into the car. It fit fine, it slid in underneath the upper seat mounts tightly, the screws provided worked perfectly to attach it to the car, I used black silicone sealant to seal it to the car and provide insulation eliminate noise. Good installation, no issues at all.

This is a great part for what I used it for. Looking at past improvements for my car, I thought it was a relatively cheaper alternative than buying a weld in alternative. Its also great that I was able to clean up my trunk by hooking my amp to it.
