If you are looking for a OE style solution for replacing your original shock mounting hardware then NPD has you covered! This rear lower shock mounting kit includes all factory Ford hardware that will ensure a proper fit and finish. This kit includes (2) OE style Hex Head Flanged bolts that feature a silver finish as well as a 10.9 class grade. The kit also includes (2) Hex Head flanged Nuts with a class 10 grade, it also features the correct nylon locking insert designed to ensure proper installation. This kit is designed to mount both the RH and LH side shocks into the lower shock bracket that is located on the rear axle and ensure a factory like installation.
Restoration Note:
This kit is designed using all original Ford hardware. This kit is as close to original for the 1999-2004 model years as possible. In 1999 Ford changed the finish to silver and nut design in have a nylon insert for locking. This kit can be used on all 1987-1998 model years if you are wanting to go with Ford style hardware.
