I ordered this to replace an even older rusty aftermarket bumper that was put on my 67 stang in the 80s. This new bumper for NPD was well constructed. Good solid metal and finish. It bolted right on using the original mounting brackets without any problem. Fits the car great and looks amazing. Very happy with this product.

Best Chrome, what a joke! you can see marks left in the bumper from the grinding before they chromed it! It's NOT worth the extra money and I will think twice before purchasing from NDP...Sadly, I took too long to have it inspected, that's my bad.

YES I would recommend this product.

Most any mass-produced bumper (i.e. not high-end show-chrome replating) is always going to have some visible grind marks under the chrome. The labor required to mitigate that far exceeds what these bumpers sell for. Original Ford bumpers were likewise full of grind marks and blemishes, Ford was building hundreds of thousands of these each year. But I can re-iterate that these are the best-quality and best-fitting on the market, and all of the alternatives we have inspected fall well short. Please have reasonable expectations for a $195 rear bumper. Show-plating at a quality plater is a minimum $800 prospect (anything cheaper is only "show chrome" by claim, not by right), and can exceed $1,000 at some of the most-skilled shops in the U.S.. the chrome has a good luster, but there were some flaws in the base metal under the chrome. and the right outer part of the bumper had to be bent out a little to look like it should.

Size and shape fit perfectly and the chrome looks good. It is important to note that you can see the sanding marks underneath the chrome from around 2-3 feet away in the reflection but i dont think that detracts too badly from it.
