Concours, (7), concours correct hardware with repro hose. Kit includes incorrect lock washer for the vent fitting. Use 5723 for the correct toothed washer.
This kit contains fasteners that are duplicates of the originals as defined within the factory assembly manuals. Assembly plants and specific build dates may have used hardware different than that specified within these manuals. Variations do exist. Ultimately it is up to the individual to determine whether a specific part is correct for their particular car.

Replaced the broken and worn out hose on my 66 Mustang with this part. It fit perfectly, even the grommet that fits into the body of the car. Only caution would be to verify whether you need a short vent fitting or a long vent fitting. I was replacing a long one with a short one, so it work in my case. I didn't need the brake splitter anymore because I ran new brake lines, but if you wanted to keep it, make sure to buy the longer fitting. I would recommend this product.

The threaded section of the metal vent is slightly longer than the original part. This "extra" length is compensated by using a "thick" lock washer, instead of using the original, thinner, star washer. I ended up cleaning up my original metal vent and star washer, but did use all of the other parts included with this kit.

Ford
only lists two vents. One has 1 1/18" long threads and the other
5/8" long threads. This kit has the shorter version which is correct
for 65-66 dual exhaust and all 67-73's. The length of the thread on 67-73
is meaningless since the 3" axle tube places the portion of the vent
protruding into the axle tube easily away from the axle shaft.
