I bought this as a direct replacement for my daily driver, an '81 GMC K1500 with the 305 V-8. It was pretty easy and straight forward. However, it is NOT identical the the OEM. The Champion radiator is contoured slightly different and it does not slide right in to the existing mounts. The stock mounts and rubber isolators were reused and it is very secure but the fit just isn't like the OEM radiator. Also, the top outlet is 1.5" in diameter and the stock hose is 1.25", so I'm looking for a molded hose that is correct on both ends. The fitting for the heater hose is threaded unlike the OEM which has and actual fitting. I imagine that is for the folks who want a heater delete, which is pretty much useless for those of us in snow country. Overall I'm pleased with it. The quality, and finish is very good and the hoses and transmission lines were where they are suppose to be.
