Restoration Note:
Original Ford listings do not show a correct part number for the rubber caps included in this kit. The rubber caps were part of the original E4ZZ-7630038-A quarter window glass run. The quarter window lower stops feature a E3ZZ-7629805-A Ford part number and were designed to be replaced when installing new lower retainers. This would ensure that the full quarter window assembly does not bottom out or hit the top of the retainer. This stop being missing can sometimes be the cause of the original plastic retainers being broken from taking the impact of the assembly.
Installation Note:
Both the caps and the stops are designed to just simply slide onto the quarter window glass run. The lower stop will need to be installed proper to the run being installed into the lower retainer.
