I didn't really used this for what it is intended. I needed the front part to fix a hatchet hole that someone long ago had put into my fender just behind the driver side door. I used a section of the front flange also and it was a bit rounded so I knocked it back into a crisp 90 degree with a hammer and dolly. It worked fine. I saved the rest of the piece for whatever else I may need to make a patch for.
