Bought this replacement after my '65's OEM pulley sheared through the bolt circle. A little research and I learned that the original '65 pulley is a known weak point and it was later redesigned by ford to make it twice as thick. This replacement is twice as thick as my early '65 one. If I'd have known this a few years ago, I'd have tossed my original in a box when I rebuilt my engine. This new one is beefier and should hold up.
