This hose fit perfect and is excellent quality. The only difference between it and the original hose is that this one has a smaller outside diameter which has no effect on it's performance.

This hose was an exact fit for my 71 Mustang. The hose diameter is slightly smaller than the original. My only complaint is the 7.5" foam hose protector is much short than the 19.5" original. It took some time to find an acceptable replacement. Otherwise, very nice part.
