Replacement. Slotted mounting hole accommodates both variations of this mount. Best replacement. Premium versions are better looking and seem to be manufactured to a higher standard. In many cases the mounts look nearly concours correct with natural steel stamping with rubber mold overflow and flashing. I decided to replace the original mount, just because it was old, even thought it didn’t look broken. After removing the old one, and comparing the two, I realized that the original had collapsed about 1/4 inch, and was bottoming out on itself. Good quality replacement part.
