Replacement. Slotted mounting hole accommodates both variations of this mount. Best replacement. Premium versions are better looking and seem to be manufactured to a higher standard. In many cases the mounts look nearly concours correct with natural steel stamping with rubber mold overflow and flashing.
Note: ALL 1967 289 and 68-70 Mustang SB convertibles and 1967 Cougar 289 and 1969-70 Cougar SB convertibles; these insulators are replacements that fit in some instances but not in others as Ford originally had a different insulator for these applications. Sometimes they work sometimes they do not.

Tried to install on 1969 Mustang Convertible 302 2 barrel automatic, these motor mount were not even close to fitting, the description should include a note that states for coupe only. Tough to give the "quality" even 1 star when the part states it'll fit and doesn't, as far as "value", with the time I've invested in attempting to get these to fit, the return shipping and the researching for the correct motor mounts I would generously give the "value of this product" MINUS 5 Stars ... I wouldn't recommend these to an enemy much less a friend.

This review is of NPD customer service and response to review of the motor mounts recently purchased. I was contacted shortly after submitting my review by Mr. Richard Schmidt of NPD, he understood my frustration and explained that this was the second time that week that someone had an issue with these mounts. Mr. Schmidt suggested I call NPD get an RMA and return the mounts, I explained that I had called NPD and was told they no longer do RMA's and that I should just box up the mounts and send them back , I told Mr. Schmidt that between the cost of the mounts the shipping the time already invested in attempting to fit them it would be cheaper for me just to put them on a shelf and eat the expense already incurred - cut my losses so to speak. Mr. Schmidt took my information and yesterday I received a check for the full amount of the mounts PLUS shipping costs. This is a strong testament to NPD's commitment to Customer care and service, and while this part did not meet my expectations, I look forward to doing business with a company that will go that extra mile to make things right for their customer. Mr. Richard Schmidt NPD is fortunate to have you on staff, I personally appreciate your efforts and I will look to NPD first for my 1969 convertible Mustangs. The quality and value rating are not for the motor mounts but for NPD's Customer Service. V/r Mike Winter

Yes, there is some rubber flashing to trim quickly with a razor blade. But, they are high quality (anchor brand) mounts that are made in the USA and drop right in a mount right up. I’m very confident in these mounts. They just “feel” good and heavy duty right out of the box. No problems with installation what so ever.

I bought these as well as the frame side mounts. 1968 mustang, six cylinder to 302 swap. The mounts required a little bit of fabricating and I had to attach them to the frame side mounts outside of the car, then install them on the frame/block. Once I made the holes line up, they now do their job.

Firstly these are solid, good quality isolators. Fitment description is an issue depending on the frame mount your vehicle has. Do not trust the note, this mount did not fit my 1967 coupe. NPD really should include the corresponding frame mount diagram for fitment. If these do not fit, you will have to modify your frame mount or purchase the appropriate frame mount. These will fit the frame mount style where the upper through-hole is close to the outside edge of the frame mount.
