Special tool required to remove pressed on power steering pump and alternator pulleys. Removes pulleys without damage to the pump or alternator by exerting force only through the shaft. Alloy steel construction. Uses 5/8 open ended wrench or socket. Power Steer pumps: works on Ford, Chrysler, GM and VW pulleys with Saginaw, Thompson, Ford C111 and C2 pumps all with hub diameters of 1 1/8, 1 1/4, 1 5/16 and 1 3/8. Exactly as Ford specified. Product did not remove the pulley. The screw stripped out when I placed tension on it. I would have returned it for a refund, but after paying the shipping it was not worth it. Extremely unsatisfied.

This is an exact duplicate of the Ford specified tool, and we have sold hundreds and hundreds without failure or claim. I can only guess that you either received a defective tool, or that not enough threads were engaged. In either case, the manufacturer places a lifetime warranty on the tool.
