Requires manifold fitting kit 2A047 or 9A474-5, some new brake lines will need to be custom bent. Includes 4:1 pedal ratio adapter. Can be used with the following OE style replacement master cylinders: 2140-2A for single reservoir and drum brakes, 2140-3A for dual reservoir drum brakes or 2140-4A, 2140-1B for single reservoir disc brakes or 2140-4A for dual reservoir disc brakes.
This booster is used to convert a manual brake car to power brakes using a custom 7 diaphragm mini-booster with either a single or dual reservoir master cylinder sold separately. Engineered to clear the apron and shock tower with some dual bowl masters. Disc cars will require an additional proportioning valve or combo valve available separately. Fabrication of new brake lines will be required.

This kit changed how the pedal was connected to the booster rod. I had to abandon the included fulcrum and bore out the rod from the booster to connect to the brake pedal.

The kit is designed to use the adapter for a 4:1 pedal
ratio. The parts are included to do this. We have no idea why this reviewer “abandoned” the ratio adapter.
