PLUG, BRAKE PROPORTIONING VALVE, BEAR BRAKES, INCL (1) CORRECT PLUG, (1) PROPER O RING, DESIGNED TO BE USED WHEN CONVERTING TO REAR DISC BRAKES, PLUGS PROPORTIONING VALVE END, INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED
This brake proportioning valve plug is designed to be used when an adjustable proportioning valve is installed. This is commonly done on 1979-1993 Fox Mustangs that are doing a rear disc brake conversion and want to be able to adjust the rear brake line pressure. This is achieved by removing the internals of the stock combination valve / proportioning valve and replacing the factory valve cap with this plug.
This plug includes a single plug as well as the proper O-ring and installation instructions.
Note: This plug can be used on 1994-2004 models that might be converting to a larger rear disc brake setup and want to have more control of the line pressure by installing and adjustable valve. See our complete listing of adjustable proportioning valves.
Performance Note: This plug is designed to mimic the Ford Racing / Ford Performance part M-2450-A that is no longer available.
