Restoration Note:
Ford listings in both original parts books and factory microfiche readers consistently show only one part number D9ZZ-66044G24-A for all 1979 thru 1986 models with Automatic Transmission. At some point during those model years, Ford stopped offering the console panel with the chrome center trim. According to NPD's research, Ford did not update the part number for this console panel, despite changes to its design. This version from Daniel Carpenter is correct for the later style without the chrome center trim.
Installation Note:
This unit does not include the OE-style mounting retainers needed for proper installation. You must reuse your original units or NPD does offer the correct mounting retainers under part number M-045A28-1. These are some of the last remaining original units.
